Hello! My name is Eytan Davidovits. I was born and raised in Palo Alto, the heart of Silicon Valley, to a Chilean father and a French mother. I speak four languages: English, French, Spanish and Hebrew.
I am currently a Product Designer at Flexport. I was previously at IBM. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I majored in Economics. Economics?! Yes! I chose this major because I wanted to understand the tech industry from a more rigorous business approach. In addition to my economics courses, I took design courses, as well as learning design in my spare time. I see design not just as just pixels, but about understanding the entire process from idea to sale, and my economics background has helped me achieve that perspective. I wrote a post elaborating on this.
I have experience ranging from Product Design to Visual Design to Interaction Design. I am an expert in crafting experiences that delight users. My mastery of the latest design tools (i.e. Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite) and design schools of thought make me well equipped to tackle new challenges.
